If you love horses, dance and gymnastics, why not try Vaulting!

 First Step Farm is now offering lessons in an exciting team sport which combines the art of dance with the strength and coordination of gymnastics, forming a special connection between horse and human.

Coached by the multi-national team champion Olivia Swan, kids and adults can come out and give this a try. It is low stress, and lots of fun. We normally meet on Saturdays but we can set up a lesson any day at any time!

Olivia has been in the vaulting field for 15 plus years, starting when she was 3 years of age, and retiring at the age of 18 as a gold and A-team level vaulter. She has traveled with her team and their horses all over Europe and the U.S. to compete. Olivia has received all her medals, from Trot through Silver Commended.

In 2004 Olivia moved to San Luis Obispo from her home town  of Saratoga, CA where she had vaulted on the Mt. Eden A-team at Garrod Farms. Currently in college, Olivia is pursuing a degree in Animal Science with a specialty in Equine Sports Therapy (rehabilitation).
